- Go through the refrigerant schematic of all 4 modes discuss what is happening in those modes
- Discuss all the refrigerant components
- Talk about brazed plate heat exchangers and what needs to be watched on install
- How an inverter works and the boards we use in the QE and VE units
- Talk about the compressor two different ones based on the two sizes
- Discuss this units capacities being fully variable and that it drives to that capacity regardless of the EWT
- Discuss the smart hot water tank and it features
- Talk about hot water capacities
- Wiring up the unit high voltage as well as low voltage wiring
- Optional zoning package go through the necessary parts as well as does and don’ts
- The 3 sizes of the smart tank
- Flushing this unit and the on board Grundfos sensors
- Proper filtering of the loop fluid with the braze plate
- Proper antifreeze protection discuss why it is so critical
- I gate thermostat and how it is setup and connected to the internet with homeowner portal
- Also discuss the contractor portal as well what can be seen remotely
- Discuss the PC service tool and setup
Hands on operation of a working unit go through all modes the wholes class records different data during these modes of operation as well as everyone gets a chance making changes hands on to the unit. This is the half day portion.
